Location
The hotel is just a walking distance from many of the main tourist spots that Amsterdam has to offer. Such as the Rembrandtplein - a vibrant square with a wide choice of bars, restaurants, clubs and cafes. Only minutes from the square is the Flower Market, always worth a visit for it's variety of brightly colored flowers only native to Holland.
The shopping street Kalverstraat stretches from the Flower market through to Dam square ( home to The Royal Palace ) then continues on the Nieuwendijk thru to Central Station. And then last but not least the notorious Red Light District, another world, yet only ten minutes from the hotel.
Public transport is within easy reach whether you take the tram or metro. Both serving a direct line to the RAI congress centum or Schiphol airport. Cycling is very popular in Amsterdam and a great way to see the city. A rental shop is just around the corner from the hotel. Or if you prefer to view the city from the canals you can take the canal bus that stops directly behind the hotel. There is also a 24 hour parking facility nearby.
